Black out a TFN, merge statements or rotate a scan without leaving Effi.
Who this is for: Brokers, Clients of a broker
Open the PDF tools
Go to the Document Request and click Upload Document.
Select one or more PDF or image files.
Preview the document (or click Edit on an uploaded file). The PDF Tools panel appears.
What you can do
Merge several PDFs into one
Split, extract or remove pages
Rotate and organise pages
Crop a photo
Compress a large file
Redact sensitive information
Redact a TFN or other details
With the document open, click Redact PDF on the right.
Choose Draw Boxes and drag over the information to hide. Pick a box colour if you like. To remove a whole page, use Redact Pages.
Click Apply and Save. You'll see "Redaction successfully applied and saved."
Open the file to check the information is no longer visible.
These tools work in both the broker portal and the client portal, on all plans. Redactions are permanent.
