Conversion rate: how it’s calculated

Understand exactly where your conversion figure comes from, and fix it if it looks wrong.

Who this is for: Brokers, Enterprise admins

The formula

Conversion rate = deals currently in a "Settled" stage ÷ all deals in your selected view

  • A deal counts as converted when it sits in a workflow stage that has the Settled key ticked.

  • The total is every deal that matches your current filters (period, broker, workflow and so on).

  • The settlement date field doesn't decide conversion. The stage does.

Stages that usually have the Settled key: Settled, Settled Paid and, for insurance, Binding Complete.

If the number looks wrong

  1. Check the workflow (admins). Go to Workflows, open each workflow (for example Home Loan, Asset Finance, Insurance) and check which stages have the Settled key ticked.

  2. Make sure only the right stages are ticked. Untick any stage that isn't truly final, including blank or hidden stages.

  3. Check the deal. Open a deal you expect to count and confirm it's in a stage with the Settled key.

  4. Check the loan amount. Deals need a loan amount to appear in reporting.

  5. Refresh the dashboard.

Test it

Take a test lead with a loan amount, move it to a Settled stage, save, then refresh your dashboard. It should now count as converted.
