Take one lead all the way through Effi so you know the full journey before your first real client.
Who this is for: Brokers
Use a practice lead (for example, yourself) the first time. Each step links to a detailed article if you need more.
Before you start
Your email is connected, so emails to the client come from your address and not [email protected].
You have at least one workflow with stages (your admin may have set this up already).
Steps
Add the lead. Go to Leads and click Add Lead. Search for the client by name, email or phone first. If they're not found, click Create Contact, assign a broker and click Add.
Send the onboarding kit. Open the lead and click Onboarding Kit. Send the privacy document and a document request link, and choose the document request template that suits the loan.
Invite the client to the fact find. The client receives a welcome email and SMS with a link to their portal, where they log in with a one-time code and complete the fact find. Add any co-borrower as a secondary applicant.
Check what the client has entered. Open the lead and click Client Profile. When the fact find status turns green and says Completed, you can review and download it.
Speed it up with Smart Fill. Once payslips and bank statements arrive, use Smart Fill to pre-populate the fact find from the documents.
Review documents. Accept or reject each uploaded document. Document Analyser flags anything unusual, such as an edited payslip.
Move the lead through your pipeline. Drag the lead to the next stage on the Kanban board, or click the three dots and choose Change status.
Send it to your aggregator. When you're ready to lodge, send the lead to Salestrekker, Connective or your aggregator CRM from the lead, or let a workflow do it automatically when the lead reaches a set stage.
Good to know
Everything you do is logged in the lead's activity history, so your team can pick up where you left off.
Your admin can automate most of these steps with workflows. See Automate your workflow.
